Kubock

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Kubock?

Kubock is an AI studio for filmmakers, showrunners and animators. It brings script breakdown, an infinite node canvas, an image editor and a rough cut timeline into one workspace, so you can go from script to rough cut without leaving the browser.

Is Kubock free?

Yes. Kubock is free to use. It runs on a bring your own keys model: you connect your own AI provider keys and pay those providers directly, at their rates, with no subscription and no markup from Kubock.

What does bring your own API keys (BYOK) mean?

It means you create accounts with the AI model providers, get your own API keys, and plug them into Kubock. You pay the providers for what you actually use instead of a bundled monthly fee. Your keys, your billing, your model choice.

Which AI models can I use?

More than 40 models across image, video, audio and voice. Image includes FLUX, GPT Image, Grok, Ideogram, Nano Banana, Seedream and Recraft. Video includes Kling, Veo, Sora, Seedance, Hailuo and Wan. Audio and voice include ElevenLabs and more. Stable Diffusion checkpoints and LoRAs run through Civitai.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Kubock runs in your browser. You sign in with a Google account and start working, nothing to download.

Can I export to Premiere or Final Cut?

Yes. The rough cut timeline exports MP4, FCPXML for Final Cut Pro and XMEML for Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, so you can finish in your editor of choice.

Are my API keys safe?

Your keys are encrypted with AES-256 on the server before they reach the database and are never exposed in the browser. The Security page explains the full technical model.

Who is Kubock for?

Working filmmakers, showrunners and animators who want one connected workspace for the whole pipeline, from screenplay to rough cut.
